Day 10: The Learnary's (Not) Back to School Series.

28 Aug 2019 7:28 AM | Sam Mills (Administrator)

What will you learn this fall?

We LOVE learning more about the world through math. At The Learnary, we continue to bring in materials that foster joy, nimbleness and skill building around math. Come check them out!

Did you know you can also consult with Learnary co-director Sam Mills for ideas about how to engage with math in your family?

Math for Love, who makes the fantastic Tiny Polka Dot and Prime Climb games we carry, also has a Free Lesson Library on their website. Sam says: "This is a fantastic resource for classroom teachers, home learners, and folks that like to play with math. I have used many of the activities offered here with the students I work with, and strongly recommend them. One student I did the broken calculator game with reported she thought it was "even better than screen time""

Search our website here. If you can't find what you're looking for, please email us at

The Learnary is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh people. We are humbled by this history and grateful for our use of this land.
