Lisa is so excited to join The Learnary as a board member.
She lives in East Vancouver and, as a community member, is also thrilled to have The Learnary here in the neighbourhood.
Lisa's background is in alternative dispute resolution and has also worked in outreach education and as a community-based researcher in the Downtown Eastside. Lisa holds a master's degree in political science and loves learning new things, especially from people who are really enthusiastic about sharing their expertise.

Alison is typically on the lookout for how to make things more playful. As a landscape architect with a love for designing outdoor play environments, she is passionate about providing rich opportunities for children to express, explore and create.
Dedicated to shaping engaging and sustainable public environments, Alison has helped generate several public art projects in the Hastings Sunrise area, and is proud to call this neighbourhood home.
Helen founded Windsor House School, a public school experiment in non-coercive democratic education that's been running 50 years or so. She also raised three children and is the grandparent of four
Helen is an activist for social and environmental justice, an advocate for young people and a beloved community member.
After co-founding The Learnary, Helen is now joining the Board to help us grow...and to take all the classes she possibly can!
