Donate to the learnary

Did you know that The Vancouver Learnary Society is a registered non-profit society? That means you can donate to us and bring so much more connection, creativity and curiosity into your community!

And even better – thanks to our generous supporters at the Transforming Education Society – we are now able to issue charitable tax receipts!

When you click to donate, you'll be sent to, a Canadian based charitable donations facilitator. They charge a small admin fee (because they do the admin work!) but the rest of it comes right to us, to support our curiosity events, low-cost and free workshops, and other community-based offerings. Thank you for supporting The Learnary!

Wish list

Since many of you have asked, we’re sharing our Wish List to let you know what kind of 'thing' donations would be most, well, helpful, right now. Of course, we are also open to offers of things we never thought to ask for ;-).

Check out our volunteer page for a list of big and small volunteer jobs we are seeking people for.

Store Hours

Our shop is currently closed.  We are taking orders through email and phone (and working on a more efficient system).  We are making curb side deliveries Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.

Accessibility is important to us. Please note, however, that we are in an old building with limitations.

The Learnary Storefront is on one level.

The front entrance door is 34” wide. There is a short slope outside the front door which rises approximately 5” over 13".

Our bathroom is approximately 57” x 60”.  To access, you need to pass through three doorways. The smallest has a width of 26”. The bathroom is non-gendered.

Our back door (private entrance) has five wooden steps.
