Learn to mend and do simple sewing projects. Our popular Stuffie Triage is back too! Bring your torn jeans, your bags with one handle, your stuffies that have lost their stuffing. We’ll have our sewing machines out and all our mending supplies at the ready. Bring your hand sewing, your embroidery, your sashiko. We’re always happy to help find answers to your textile questions. If you’re more of a knitter or stitcher, bring your project and hang out with us for a bit. We love to chat over textile projects on the go! This week is open to all ages... younger members and stitchers can work on their own projects or try one of our kits.
$7 drop-in fee ($5 each additional family member), all week access. Includes: use of our sewing machines; use of all mending tools and supplies; guidance on how to get started and ideas for creative mending; room to work.
At The Learnary, making and playing together is what we’re all about.
During our Weeks of Wonder, all ages are invited to make, do, and learn together.
Stay for a short time or a long time; come and go all day, if that’s what works best for you. Meet your friends here and make it a party, or come on your own and meet new friends. There are just so many options!
Kids under 15 must have an accompanying adult, who are invited to play too...or sit with a cup of tea and chat if you prefer. If your family includes kids younger than the set activity, don’t fret...we have drawing supplies, building blocks and more to entertain people of all ages.
