Have you ever wanted to make your own stamps? Or be able to make cards and artwork for your friends? In this workshop, learn the basics of block printing (a.k.a. lino cut or relief printing).
Using a carving tool, learn to carve your own block out of a vinyl based linoleum, that you can take home after! Then, we will print (stamp) our blocks using speedball water-soluble block printing ink and stamp pads.
No-experience in art or printmaking required. Tools and supplies provided. Open to everyone!
This the second of two offerings of this wonderful workshop. Look for this workshop again on September 18th. Cara is also offering a Mixed Technique Printmaking Workshop Oct 2nd and Oct 30.
