Supporting Early Readers.

This workshop will be provided on ZOOM.

There's no wrong way to read with your kids!

Paul Silveria will share a wide-ranging set of simple techniques for parents, educators, and  caregivers to use to help early readers  practice their emerging reading skills.

Participants will leave this workshop with increased confidence and clarity about supporting emergent readers of all ages in a relaxed and effective manner.  Paul's approach is one of deep respect for where the reader is.  He prioritizes the reader having control, exploration and joy in the journey, and breaks down the components of reading into clearer and more manageable parts.

The content of this workshop is geared at adults.  We expect people to have their kids with them through Zoom.

This is a great workshop for anyone supporting early readers: great for long standing home learners and those home learning due to the current crisis, as well as families who generally wish to be better resourced in this regard.  Will be useful if your child is not yet reading, or is reading somewhat comfortably.

NOTE:  This workshop is being offered twice.  Register for just one date.

Paul Silveria has two decades of experience as an educator and has worked with pre-school through high-school students, self directed unschoolers and home learners, as well as adults with developmental disabilities.  He is particularly gifted at supporting students exactly where they are in a useful, joyful, and productive manner.
